Festival of Farmland Biodiversity Events

Throughout the month, we will be celebrating the value of the native species-rich hedgerows network that crisscross the Irish landscape.

The National Biodiversity Data Centre is hosting a month-long (virtual) Festival of Farmland Biodiversity for May 2025. This year the Festival of Farmland Biodiversity will celebrate our wonderful native species-rich hedgerows.

Festival of Farmland Biodiversity walks.

An opportunity to have a farm walk where species-rich grassland has been retained and managed as part of the part of the Great Irish Grasslands.

The walk will take place on 8th July, when the wildflowers and grasses are in flower.
