Bill Callanan is Chief Inspector at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM). He is responsible for the provision of advice on the practice of Agriculture and on Science and technology related to the agri-food sector within DAFM.

He is head of profession for the Agricultural Inspectorate, with over 250 graduates across the Department, covering a wide range of graduate competencies and sits on the Management Board of the Department.
