Records were added and distribution maps up-dated for 60 species including a map being added for
- Japanese skeleton shrimp (Caprella mutica)
This species was first recorded in Ireland on July 16th, 2003 during a routine visit to a salmon farm in Bertraghbouy Bay, Co. Galway. It has since been recorded in four additional sites in Ireland. Records for three of the sites will be loaded into Biodiversity Maps in December. An up-date of the risk assessment repeated in 2013 resulted in this species being ranked as medium impact with uncertain risk see: http://invasivespeciesireland.com/toolkit/risk-assessment/amber-list-recorded-species/
