The National Biodiversity Data Centre is looking to appoint a Chief Operating Officer. The Chief Operating Officer will be a key member of the senior leadership of the organisation, with operational responsibility for ensuring the day-to-day operations of the CLG operate efficiently, productively and effectively according to standard operating procedures to be adopted. The Chief Operating Officer will be required to ensure the CLG meets its day-to-day corporate obligations while also preparing the National Biodiversity Data Centre to meet its future and ongoing obligations in respect of compliance, reporting and financial management. The Chief Operating Officer will also ensure the smooth functioning of all corporate services including Human Resources, Finance and ICT services. In addition, the Chief Operating Officer will be expected to play a lead role in supporting the Chairperson in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the Board.
