Dr Darragh O’Neill

Dr Darragh O’Neill is Programme Manager at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), where he leads the Research and Evidence Programme. In this role, he is responsible for the EPA’s Research Programme, its Environmental Analytics Team and its Climate Adaptation and Behavioural Insights Team. Across these areas, the Programme aims to provide high-quality evidence to inform national climate and environmental policy.
Before joining the EPA, he worked at Science Foundation Ireland (now Research Ireland), where he designed research programmes supporting international collaboration, postgraduate training, and climate-related research. Darragh has a background in the natural sciences and holds a PhD in chemistry.
